Pretty empty
If I remember the story correctly from high school history class, the Spartans punished their wrongdoers twice: once for doing something wrong, and once for getting caught. Last week French street artist Zevs was arrested for pouring paint on a Chanel logo he had just slapped up outside a Giorgio Armani store in Hong Kong. A friend videotaped the mischief. He was arrested immediately thereafter and pled guilty to one count of criminal damage. If there’s any justice in this world, he will be punished thrice: once for his criminal act, once for getting caught, and once for wasting everyone’s time with art that is, at best, pretty nonsense, as in the painting above, and at worst is repetitive, boring, and with only the slightest hint at meaning — bad graffiti carried out by a malicious, OCD-suffering retard all juiced-up after reading though his stack of Adbusters.

I bet the artist finds a lot of meaning in his work, be it a statement on society, fashion or art, perhaps a mere statement of himself. I’m not saying this is genius or anything I’m going to rush out and promote or buy but that’s individual taste. Heck, people have spent millions on a Pollock and some would argue that his work was nothing more then drunken splotches of paint. That’s fine, too each their own, but a retard? A bit harsh, no? Perhaps, poor judgement in the whole, I’m committing a crime thing. As for getting caught, my bet is he couldn’t have gotten better publicity by having his work featured in the best art galleries of the world, pretty smart if you ask me?

I like it. I actually see quite a bit of merit in this type of work and personally, I enjoy the colors, a lot.

No! James has got this garbage nailed. Spot on analysis of this wanna be. This is a total waste of every one’s time and the so called artist should be locked up to prevent further creation of such idiocy.
